Implementation |
In Geography, children at Castle learn about their local area and compare their life in this area with that in other regions. They will learn how to draw and interpret maps, whilst developing their skills of research, investigation, analysis and problem-solving. Learners gain an appreciation of other cultures through our human geography lessons. Geography teaching will also motivate the children to find out about the physical world and the issues facing the world today, such as climate change and sustainability. |
Impact |
When leaving Castle Primary, children will have an excellent knowledge of where places are and what they are like as well as an excellent understanding of the ways in which places are interdependent and interconnected and how much human and physical environments are interrelated.
